Ascorbyl Palmitate

White powder, slightly citrusy. Very slightly soluble in water and vegetable oil, soluble in anhydrous ethanol and anhydrous methanol. Act as an antioxidant. It is widely used in oil, dairy products, cosmetics, health products, baby food, aquatic products, puffed food, fried food, meat products, nuts, fruits and other kinds of food and beverage anti-oxygen preservation. For oily food, instant noodles, hydrogenated vegetable oil, the maximum use is 0.2g /kg, for infant formula food, the maximum use is 0.01g /kg (measured by ascorbic acid in oil).
